Guides and examples are general technical information, not a substitute for reviewing the conditions of a specific production system. Commands and configuration changes can cause outages or data loss when used in the wrong environment. Maintain backups, understand each command, and test on a non-critical system where practical.
Open-source projects and downloads
Repository code and downloadable scripts are governed by the license included with each project or file. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, no support, fitness, or production-availability commitment is created by downloading or using public material.
Email migration utility
You may use the migration utility only for mailboxes and systems you are authorized to access. You are responsible for providing accurate connection details, maintaining destination capacity, preserving backups, complying with provider policies, and verifying the result before retiring a source mailbox. Do not use the service for unauthorized access, disruption, spam, or unlawful data transfer.
Professional services
A website inquiry does not create a service engagement. Scope, authorization, fees, timing, access, responsibilities, and any service-specific terms should be confirmed in writing before paid work begins.
Availability and liability
The website and public utilities may change or become unavailable without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they are provided without warranties, and Cyber Duct Tape is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Acceptable use
Do not probe, overload, circumvent access controls, upload malicious content, interfere with other users, or attempt to access data that does not belong to you. Access may be restricted when needed to protect the service or others.
